We were invited by The Langham Hotel to take part in their 150th Anniversary. Duncan Palmer, the Managing Director, presided with the Mayor of Westminster at the cutting of a cake which was an exact replica of the hotel and Grand Commandeur Gerard O’Shea, Ambassador for the UK, sabraged a magnum of Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne. The hotel is becoming a Caveau de Sabrage and we look forward to some events there.”

It is with regret that we announce the death of Kerry de Courcy MBE. Kerry, Chevalier and Maître-Sabreur, was the owner of Rye Lodge Hotel, a delightful hotel and caveau de sabrage. Kerry had been suffering from prostate cancer for some time. Our condolences to his wife Jean and some James, who has taken over the hotel and is a Chevalier and Maître-Sabreur.
